JSB Firedex Bi Wire FXN922 5 In 1 Self-Check Optical Heat Detector
Unique new Bi-Wire conventional, 5 in 1, Self-Check detector.
Designed and manufactured to provide peace of mind.

The unique new Bi-Wire conventional, 5 in 1, Self-Check detector is designed and manufactured to provide peace of mind. One of the major benefits of the Self-Check technology detector is its ability to inform the enduser when a detector has ceased to function correctly or indeed has failed.

The Biwire detector has been designed to monitor itself for any internal faultcondition or failure of the detector. Should a problem be detected, a zonefault will be generated at the panel and the detector LED will light (yellow segment) indicating both zone and device. Another development for the newrange of Bi-Wire panels, to aid contractors and service providers, is the Cooper unique fault location facility. Detectors in all zones can be instructed, from the panel, to pulse their LED (yellow segment) every 2 seconds. This facility can then be used to aid in the location of any break or short circuit on a zones wiring thereby saving both time and labour.

Key Benefits and Features:

The 5 in 1 detector is simple to configure:
Optical detector
Optical/heat - multi sensor
Heat detector (1 of 3 modes)- Rate of rise (A1R)- Fixed temperature 77 (BS)- Fixed temperature 92 (CS)
The Self-Check detectors dual LED indicator - saves both time and cost byfacilitating the fault finding process.

Red LED is continuous to indicate alarm condition
Yellow LED is continuous to indicate smoke sensing chamber fault or thedetector has reached its limit of contamination compensating ability. This LED can also be pulsed from the panel to help locate wiring faults.
